On October 2, 2019, Brothers from the Zeta Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. performed the Omega Ceremony in celebrating the life of Brother Dr. Emerson E. Smith, Jr.
The Omega service of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity is a ceremony performed for all deceased Alpha brothers who have transferred into Omega Chapter, a chapter reserved for transitioned brothers “Once an Alpha always an Alpha.”
